Carmarthen Gateway

2020

This gateway sign is strategically sited on the eastbound side of the A40 in order to announce Carmarthen town centre. I designed the concept stage with Atkins in 2016, with detailed design and manufacture in close-collaboration with Cerrig Slate and Granite Ltd of Pwllheli following in 2020.

Using the specialist facilities and experience of Cerrig allowed the creation of this striking signage in coloured stainless steel. Standing up to 4m high the sign wraps over 25m around the A40 embankment as you approach Carmarthen roundabout.
